They are incredibly in love. Maybe too much so. We’re kind of reaching the point of “i think heads would roll if either of them were placed in legitimate danger”
once more with the voice of buddha
scattered oc stuff i never posted. if you recognize some of these guys no you don't
3, 4, and/or 13 for the oc ask game if you’d like? :3c
oc ask game! of course :D ty cicadaaa!!!
Are there any personality traits that are common among your OCs? -
QUIET WEIRDOS. i think with only a few exceptions if you stuck all my ocs in a room together a good 80% of them would just linger in the corner trying not to make eye contact lol. this is mostly due to the fact most of my ocs are for rp groups and i tend to get shy in rp groups so i figured it was best to at least lean into making characters that are more passive so it's, like, at least more incharacter when it takes me a while to get into the swing of things.
not to say my ocs are all shy or introverted necessarily, but i tend to write my characters' personalities under the assumption that they're not going to be the center of attention and even if they are chatty or loud it tends to either be in more of a "once you get them to open up" sense or their energy is more directed to Saying Absurd Things than Doing Absurd Things
i also, predictably, really like characters that get to be a little fucked up once you get to know them hehe.
Are any of your OCs part of a larger story or project? If not, what sorts of things do you use them for (drawing, daydreaming, etc)? -
i am not a projects guy alas. the closest thing i have is a few ocs that belong to stories that bounce around my head, but primarily my ocs are characters that float in the void until i find things to throw them at hehe. not to say they're not loved until then of course. they find homes in my pictures folder and in my Autism Project that is my oc spreadsheet where i jot down all the info on them from proper descriptions to tma fears to what webkinz i assign them lolol. maybe one day i'll share it but it's an eternal wip so there are a lot of spotty areas
the closest thing i have to a project (and i hesitate to call it that) is snark cocoons, my oc story about an online cult, the supernatural cold case it worships, and the subcommunity dedicated to poking fun at it. it's sort of a murder mystery, mostly a terrarium of various internet rabbit holes, all a psychological horror, aaand it's my baby hehe.
protagonist is christoph barnitz, an aimless butch mechanic who carries a lot of shame about moving back in with their mother, and tangles themself up in trying to get justice for the dead teenager at the centerpiece of the cult's worship. they have the biggest heart in the world for better and worse. i still need to put them on artfight but this story has a lot of characters lol
Do you have any original species among your OCs? -
nah! not how i do things unforch. respect to those who do i am just not creative in that direction xP
ty for the ask!!!
my brain doesnt often click with oc kin/inspo onions. but when it does . ohhh delila
