Simone Tries @fentybeauty : A Story -- I really only wanted the foundation. But since they've been out of stock FOREVER online and in store and only just restocked a mere few weeks ago, I decided that I would buy two (which ends up being hella expensive -- ~$80). I go to Sephora and they only have one left, despite having been told on Thursday that they had lots in stock. 😐 But then, Sephora gives you a complimentary Glamover with a $90 purchase. So here I am. -- I mean, I try to look good on the daily but I looked in the mirror when my MUA was finished and I said, "Damn!"😍 -- I am serving you all looks tonight boy. Strong lip. Eyebrows on fleek. Hair on point. Just looking like a whole snack. The slayage is too real right now. -- I don't often wear makeup -- don't have the patience and lack the skill. That might have to change. 💋💄 -- I'm really feeling myself right now. I'm all made up with no where to go though. 😢 I cannot let this face go to waste. -- So these pictures were my attempt at immortalizing this moment by prancing through the mall, awkwardly trying to take a good selfie (but also low key trying to be seen by as much people as possible). -- Then I got some "jerk" sweet potato fries at @burgersnfriesforever. The only person who noticed me was some homeless guy asking for change and trying to strike up a conversation -- "Where are you from? Oh I used to live there!" -- you know, that b.s. (Side note: Why is it that when you're all done up, no one notices you, but the ONE day that you go braless and wear your headtie and sweatpants outside you see all your friends, your coworkers, your crushes, the Holy Ghost -- basically the whole world? I digress.) -- But all is not in vain.☝️ There's a Meetup.com singles mixer going on tonight and I had decided to force my introverted self to go (with my sexy self).
