Phasma is absolutely BAFFLING to me. Clearly they want a new Boba. I get that. A cool side villain for people to fawn over for years. But then to go and repeat the same errors Lucas made with Boba, whos popularity was unintended? The errors that meant decades worth of comics and books and whatever else were needed to redeem that guy? I mean at least Boba tracks the Falcon and is sorta responsible for ESBs downer ending. Phasma has nothing. Everytime she comes back I'm more embarrassed for her.

exaclty..as soon as her bit started in TLJ i just got so nervous for her i was like “yep this is it” i could just feel it in my gutthe only way disney can redeem themselves of this crap is bringing her back again smh

Don't have to answer publically or at all, since spoils, but man I'm glad they got the lipstick. (if its real). He looks substantially less clowny than I'm used to as well, lighting does wonders for him.

The dark lipstick in the manga always looks clowny for me, not that that’s an entirely bad thing, manga High Dio’s angery clown aesthetic was just the right amount of creepy. 

imo the purple lip looks less clown-ish but maybe less threatening too.
