SNBS team celebrated the Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May 2019 at Jagdishpura Agra. Here we educated 79 adolscent girls and told them about the menstrual hygiene. This day is an annual awareness day to highlight the importance of good menstrual hygiene and break the silence of those girls who hesitate to talk about periods and hence change the negative norms of society. 50% of the population goes through the phenomenon of periods and still it is hush hush thing in many households, we have set out to change this mindset and make people understand and freely talk about it. It is an important step towards development of people and the growth of country.
