“We always share blankets on the couch, I’m sure sharing the bed for the night is fine too.”
The weather was terrible out, and Alicia had insisted that Becca and Oliver both stay rather than trying to make the trek back to their own houses. It had all seemed like a grand idea to Becca until the middle of the night, when she was nodding off on Oliver’s shoulder and sleeping arrangements were suddenly being discussed. There weren’t exactly spare beds up for grabs, and Leo did have a point, it wasn’t like she hadn’t fallen asleep with him on the couch back at Hogwarts a hundred times. But something about the barely perceptible look of panic on the third person in the room’s face let her know that this was different, and she vehemently shook her head. “No, no, that’s okay -- you guys can have your bed, I don’t mind staying out here at all. Thanks for the offer, but you know me, I can fall asleep anywhere; I so don’t need to share your bed with you, Leo.”
