I just had a realisation about Pedro Pascals career in the last 5 years. If we remove performances in media that were streamed online for fun during covid, was in a short of some kind, or where he was uncredited, he's literally exclusively played dads, adoptive dads, or characters who wanted to be dads, between 2017 and 2022. Whiskey in Kingsman wanted to be a dad. Ezra in Prospect is an adoptive dad. Dave York in The Equalizer 2 is a dad. Frankie in Triple Frontier is a dad. Maxwell Lord in Wonder Woman is a dad. Marcus Moreno in We Can Be Heroes is a dad. Din Djarin in The Book of Boba Fett is an adoptive dad. It takes until Javi Gutierrez in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent from this year before we hit a non-dad role. Then there's The Bubble where he's also not a dad, and then it's right back to being Daddy Din in Mandalorian season 3, and then another adoptive dad role as Joel in The Last of Us. He mentioned recently in a throwaway line at a panel that "maybe I should have a kid". Buddy, I think your subconsciousness is trying to tell you that yeah, maybe you should.

I'm getting closer and closer to wanting to calculate and make a graph of the inflation/deflation of the value of republic/imperial credits in the star wars universe because in 5 BBY you can get off planet in a hurry anonymously for 800 credits, but by 9 ABY you can get your ship fixed up with some new parts and also store it in a hangar, with 500 being acceptable upfront. I can't figure it out and it annoys me.

Me: I wanna write a fanfiction in the Star Wars universe!
me: proceeds to do literal hours of research to find out whether a specific ship type has a fitting enough interior, history, technology, availability and price that it would make sense as a setting for the story.

I love how obvious it is that Pedro Pascal fans fuck. And I know this for a fact because all the smut I’ve read is excellent and realistic.
ya know how some fandoms absolutely do not fuck, and you can tell from all of the “spit as lube” and “folded him like a pretzel” stuff? Yeah, there’s next to none of that here and I love it.
Pedro fans are kinky bastards who fuck and do their research and I love that a lot. Literally don’t think I’ve read any smut that included talks about STDs and various birth control as part of the consent conversation before sex, before I started reading smut written by Pedro fans.
I think it’s because the smut writers here tend to be in their late 20s or older, which, love that too.

DMing tip: If your players walk into a store, but you don't want them to be in there forever, ensure there are other customers. Maybe even a queue.
