hey wandersong fans. do you ever think about the baron. how, in so little time, wandersong clearly establishes four things: one, the baron fucked up an Entire Town. two, he did it trying to bring that town happiness, because it was once His community. three, hes kiwis father. four, they do not recognize each other.

do you ever think about how profoundly sad that is? the baron, presumably already estranged from his community, decided to try and bring it joy. he abandoned his wife and child to do so. he spent years, decades, even, working on his factory, his toys. but the factory fails. the community comes together, rallied by a bard he does not know, to tell him that hes done them wrong. that hes done something downright evil, even. he looks at a determined community he does not recognize, and backs down. he goes home to his wife, their child nowhere to be seen. thats to be expected, after decades. they must be an adult now.

and kiwi...ohhh the ways the baron parallels kiwi...the both of them, estranged from the communities they live in, doing whatever they can to bring the people around them joy, but its never enough. theyre never Part of the community. so they leave, on their own journey. one to save the world, one to save the town. and they fail! theyre not the heroes of their stories, no matter how hard they try. but kiwi went out making friends on their journey. kiwi has miriam to lift them up and help them out. the baron has no one, not anymore.

wandersong fans. hi its me again. you may remember me from the emotionally devastating baron post. now. if youll walk with me again for a minute.

i have seen. many designs. which give miriam pointy ears which tumblr users associate p much unanimously with magic and witchcraft and whatnot. and it got me Thinking about my design, which does not have them. and i thought to myself, what if those are common to witches, but miriam specifically doesnt have them, leaving her even more ostracized? which was very good very fun.

and then i thought to myself.

what if kiwi does?

walk with me. kiwi may not be a witch, but they clearly show an affinity for music-based magic, which is canonically magic in its oldest and simplest form. them being related to witches and having the ears to show for it would be fun.

but nyanbinary-87, you say, kiwi doesnt canonically have ears! well, thats where the fun part comes in, of course! kiwi hides these ears behind their capelet, bc they are an additional level of ostracization and assumptions about them. which means kiwi also hides them from miriam. and presumably doesnt reveal them for the entire adventure.

well. more specifically, kiwi wouldnt reveal it at least until miriam starts prying their feelings out with a crowbar. which is, notably, after visiting chaandesh. and. well.

miriam, the born and raised witch, feeling outcast from chaandesh, blaming her lack of true "witch ears".

kiwi, traversing and interacting with chaandesh with ease despite being nonmagical, with the one physical trait miriam found herself Lacking.

and with how the rest of the acts go, its either right before she leaves or just after she returns that she finds out about this.

GREAT QUESTION AND VERY CORRECT ASSESSMENT. ISAT IS AWESOME

ISAT stands for In Stars And Time. It is an indie RPG based around timeloops. You play as Siffrin, the trap-finding rogue in the party. You are the only one who notices the timeloop, and while your party's goal remains beating the Final Boss, your goal is to find a way out of the loop, by any means necessary.

If you want to get into In Stars And Time, I have recommendations. Of course, buying the game is the best way to experience it, but if you're not ready to commit, Jelloapocalypse has a great video which introduces the game without spoiling the Major Points. ISAT is currently available on Steam (Windows only, I'm afraid), Switch, and PS4/5, for like 20 dollars, which tbh is a VERY low price for what you get.

If you're interested but can't afford it, Jello also has a full playthrough on his second channel. Both of these are voice acted by him and his friends, and they're how I fell in love with this game. I also play it myself, and despite having experienced the main story, Jello and friends left a lot unexplored, and I ADORE every little bit. I plan to eventually complete all the quests, but for now, I love experiencing the timeloop and watching the changes in dialogue and in Siffrin's strength. I've even gotten some cool sidequests done!

good morning enjoyers of the funny daycare men. good morning enjoyers of sister location. good morning those who enjoy that one crossover with moon and glamrock ballora. might i interest you in the vast parallels between circus baby and sunny.

like???? warm color animatronic with a white base, jester theming, prominent red on the outfit and orange on the head, a permanent smile ending in rounded cheeks, a prominent nose, ruffly detailing around the shoulders and waist, and the SHOES. these are the same animatronic in wildly different fonts and i CRAVE seeing them interact like weve seen ballora and moon.
