I cannot begin to put into words what this story truly means to me. Dating myself here but 17776 came out when I was in high-school and in one of the worst bouts of depression I think I've ever had, and it was so fundamental in extracting the nihilistic mindset I was so bound to out of my bones for good. Amidst the, well, everything right now, it has stood the test of time in reminding me that there is joy to be had in being human. There is joy to be had within our existence. Thank you Mr. Jon Bois for my favorite story forever and ever and ever and ever.

cooper starts panicking when he cant find oliver so he runs around looking for him while oliver is trying to catch his breath outside

cooper eventually finds him and they just go home bc neither of them actually wanted to be there in the first place
