SNIGLAR crib
Because I can’t find anyone else talking about this, just a heads up that the SNIGLAR crib from IKEA was remanufactured in 2013, so that the mattress lays 5 inches lower than it used to. My mom has the older version and it’s really nice for us short people, but I think they lowered it because its a pretty shallow depth and won’t take long for a kid to be too big for it. I got confirmation from IKEA that they remanufactured it, though they didn’t say why (thanks ikea...). It’s now about 15inch from the top of the mattress to the top of the crib, which is kind of low for me (I’m 5′2). However I think adding a mattress topper will help, and worse case I switch with my mom (who only uses hers for visitors).
