I visited Gatineau a few times when I lived in Ottawa and I quite liked, plus I'm actually planning on studying in Quebec city during my year abroad for my french degree so I'm going to respectfully ignore your advice on that one :) Also I would love to bring Sammy with me as I'm sure he would make an excellent and hilarious travelling companion ;)

10 how do you spend your free time BADLY oh god when i’m being productive i usually write or practice drawing or catch up on the mountain of reading i have to do (atm it’s eve kosofsky sedgwick and judith butler hell yeah gender theory) but if i’m not which is most of the time i’m just fuckin about on the internet and metaphorically waving to my youth as it passes me by or thinking about anime boys and sobbing

23 what is art christ i have a load of random thoughts about this swimming in my head rn first of all i think that the concept of “art” itself is so entrenched in classist/colonialist bullshit that no-one really seriously thinks about the whole “what is art” question seriously anymore except to attempt to disentangle it from the bougie trench it’s been mired in for centuries. also kinda related but not really, i don’t agree that something cannot be useful if it’s to be considered art i think that form/function dualism is bullshit i think anything can be art and that to say that art is anything but subjective is dangerous (i’m probably thinking way too deeply into this)

28 is there good in everyone yeah objectively i’d say there is but the germ of “goodness” hiding inside some complete shithead isn’t going to make me not hate them. there is the potential for good in everyone but what matters is whether u act on it, is what i’m probably trying to say
