blogging about whatever I feel like, but mostly Formula 1. Oxventure has a huge place in my heart even if I don’t talk about it much. warning that I am often saying worrying things about Jenson Button (and others, but mostly #myjense)
I write fic when I can be bothered, which can be found over on ao3, but other that I’m just here to entertain myself with fun images and chill with my cool mutuals.
no terfs, no minors, and I’ll block you if you happen to post about things I really dislike, but other than that I don’t bite.

what's your favourite f1 livery and why?
So in typical me fashion I don't have one outright fave... I have three faves in one favourite tier (the tier rating system was an actual gamechanger for me)
I was last asked about it here and for the most part, my thoughts haven't changed
I'll briefly go into detail with all 3 but I think the one thing they have in common is that they're all very simple and sleek liveries executed really well without looking too plain or boring (and they're all glossy, so bonus point for that).
Brawn GP BGP001 - Truly one of the most iconic F1 liveries of all time for me! I adore that the wheel caps are in the neon chartreuse as it adds just the right amount of extra colour without being too eye searing. I just love the swooshy lines and the choice to use a neon accent really makes it stand out.
Williams Martini Racing (2014-2018) - A modern classic! White was definitely the right base colour to pair with the Martini stripes since I think it would have been difficult to find another colour to compliment both shades of blue and the bright red. The Rest of the sponsor logos being in navy really works to make the whole livery look cohesive. The Martini stripes are also just the right size that the car doesn't look too empty, or it takes up too much space. To quite goldilocks - it's just right.
Mercedes W11 - Another modern classic (at least for me!) Fully incorporating black into their core season liveries is honestly one of the best design choices Merc have made in recent years (while also fully acknowledging the symbolic reasons behind it). I love the cascading star logo on the engine cover as an ode to the silver in 'silver arrows' that Mercedes continue to be known for. I also think that there's just the right amount of Petronas teal accents on the bodywork and wheel hubs. Much like the Brawn livery it's a perfect pop of colour and combined with the black and silver makes a really gorgeous colour palette.
hang with me asks
9, 19, and 25 for the fic asks pls!
i'm so sorry i thought i posted this a couple days ago but i just now found it in my drafts???
(9. what time do you prefer to write? day, night, etc)
very much during the night, or at the very least evening for a combination of factors. when i was younger and at my most productive fic writing wise, this was because i wasn't allowed my phone at night and i couldn't sleep so i wrote instead (using paper and pen...), now it's a combination of less distractions/interruptions and also i tend to get inspiration from discussions with jol (i say this like it's a regular occurrence lmao but i just haven't written much recently so i can only go off what i have written) and more in depth discussions happen later in the day
(19. do you work on multiple fics at once or one at a time)
one at a time for sure. now and again i'll have ideas for multiple but actually working on them? it's hard enough to work on one at a time let alone more than one. this is also partially due to the fact i write shorter fics so it's not like i'm writing one for months at a time. i also don't want to be losing motivation if i switch to writing another fic
(25. is there a scene you are dreading writing? what is it?)
spoilers for the upcoming fic i'm just starting to write (don't get too excited though i can already tell it will take me A While to write) but it's bandf1 (of course...) and there's going to be a scene where mark wants to jensemark it up which i'm not sure how i'm going to go about writing. not to mention just writing jense in general because she's so confident and flirty and so different to me that i don't know how to capture her in writing
yay more pie!
miss snizx not gonna lie im gonna kill myself... the filling is too watery, the springform baking dish stopped working and i almost lost the whole thing when the bottom tried to fall off... i... i didnt even do the egg wash... it's so over (ignore the lattice on the pie i know how to do it but my morale is SO LOW i didnt even try)
🫐
i assign you my little apple mug 'cause he's just a good time 🍎
send me an emoji and i will assign you one of my mugs ❤
I don’t know if you meant to reblog ‘sorry i'm late to the meeting, boss, I got held up because I had to sexualize that old man’ but it’s hilarious and has absolutely made my evening, thank you
I assume you're asking if i meant to reblog it so many times and yes I did. I had to sexualise that old man extra hard 🙏
