Chasing Spring
Been on the pollen rollercoaster for quite a while now. First wave hit me in Bluffton about two months ago. Imagine me on a tractor wearing goggles and a dust mask, constantly irritated because the heat from my breath made my goggles fog up somehow. Second wave hit me in Tennessee while visiting my father. And now it is the birch trees that are dropping yellow snow over everything. I welcome the pollen this time around - I can’t wait to see Alaska bloom in all its wildflower radiance. The treeline here is so beautiful, all the young tender greenery, intermixed with dark green pine. Photos will never do this place justice. It has to be experienced. Tra la la. :)
