Some of my friends wanted my spaghetti ‘recipe’ so here it is.
Get some mince and brown it in a frying pan. I normally go for lean mince unless I’m broke in which case i just drain the fat off. Put the mince in a bowl once it’s done. Pick your veggies. I normally go for carrot, zucchini and celery. Sometime squash. Since I normally make this for upwards of five peeps it’s a whole zucc, three carrots and 2 celery stalks. Chop ‘em thin and fry until soft. while they’re doing their thing boil like a kilo of pasta. this is when the mince goes back in. And a whopping great spoonful of garlic. whoo garlic. give it a stir and then chuck in a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes. three or four at least. then whatever herbs you want to season with. I normally go for thyme, basil or rosemary. mix it in. then we go for sauces (this is how i make it taste like pizza guys). Slog in some good old BBQ, little bit of Worcestershire and some tomato sauce just to make it really saucy. Sometimes I pour in like 2 cups of red wine. the cheap stuff. Then you put the lid on your frying pan and let it simmer for a little bit. and there you go. Pizzaghetti. Spagizza. Spaghettatouille.
