Broccoli | Bryson & Serena
Serena stood in the centre of her room, her hair messily draped over her shoulders as she fiddled around with the dress she was wearing in attempt to make it sit the way she wanted. The Snowball was mere hours away and her outfit had to be perfect. She had searched and searched for the right thing to wear but nothing was going to plan. The baby pink fabric of the short gown hung off of her rail like thin frame awkwardly in so many places but all she saw in the mirror was someone horribly fat staring back at her. Not to mention the fact that the rather obscene bow that was attached to the back was just plain horrifying. “Fuck,” she called out in a state of disarray as she sunk her head in to her hands. She shook her head in annoyance before walking over to her cupboard and taking out the last dress that was hanging there. She began to unzip the garment bag in one last ditch attempt to find something that she actually felt comfortable in - a near impossible task - until she felt the cool breeze of the door being pushed open behind her, not realising that it had been ajar the entire time. “What are you doing here? Looking for Maddie?” she asked pointedly, the insecurities that were already floating around at the forefront of her mind being exacerbated by Bryson walked into the room. Though she had no reason to be jealous of the fact that after she’d slept with him he had kissed her roommate, she couldn’t help the way that she felt.
