and there it goes, wandering down the street with both its globe and the sea snow cone following close behind, bouncing and leaving their snowy gummies in their wake.

❆ ...wow, a year? ❆ has it really been that long?

it didn't... feel like that long, really. isola was ever changing, keeping one light on their feet, not too settled, not too attached to what may be going on today when something strange could be happening the same time tomorrow. and suppose that's what snow was feeling - a bit of never being settled down to just let the time pass.

though it's immensely happy with its new friends... it couldn't help but miss the old.

it had been a week since acquisition of the crystalline star, vibrating like it was alive and warm in snows arms. it had been carrying it around everywhere - for it knew what was going to spring forth, and it couldn’t risk anything happening to its little friend.

its friend! it had a friend back! ..or, well, a friend other than the sea snow cone. that one wasn’t very talkative, though.

the egg shook, twitched rather suddenly, snow setting it on the ground and stepping back in surprise as its surface began to crack, crumble around the form it knew was awaiting inside.

a living snowglobe - complete with thick eyebrows and dapper mustache - rose up from its previous home, giving its owner a pleased hum once it took in the sight. and snow moved to hold it close, a laugh pouring from the childs voice as it reunited with one of the few it had missed so dearly.

two out of three down! all that’s left was to re-acquire the means to summon its dear king and things would finally be complete...

sitting up in a tree all cheeky and mischievous, snow sugar, with all its amusements, waved a hand. the one companion it was allowed to keep, sea snow cone, the lesser, non-sentient brethren to the great snow king, bounded out from... somewhere, bouncing across the grass and leaving frost (and jellies!) in its wake.

it wasn’t much of a prank, but... surely sea snow cone startled someone! the park was pretty lively today. and, sliding down from the tree and trotting happily after to retrieve the snowflake shaped jellies it left behind, it had a snack to share with anyone who wanted some. would be a good way to make up for that snowy little surprise...
