New Years brings a bit of a redraw! It’s been a while since I’ve drawn Skimmer, so I decided a bit of an overhaul was due. The left picture was drawn in November 2014, just over 4 years ago. The right one was drawn this afternoon at work (January 1st, 2019) and to say I’m happy with the progress my artwork has made overall is an understatement.
Me, remembering that Snowskimmer’s holoform was a 6’ business mom who wore 5” stilettos: 😍
No matter how much time passes, Skimmer will always be one of my favorite ocs.
[ Hello, friends! Guess who's still alive? It's been a while, but I've been very, very busy. I've got a job and college both ramping up for the season. Hopefully, within the next little while, I'll be able to come back and be active. I miss roleplaying so much! In the meantime, here's some progress of my Snowskimmer maquette for Sculpture class! His head has been giving me some grief. I know how it works but it's hard as hell to put together! ]

There's a soft coo from somewhere nearby, punctuated by a giggle. Upon inspection, Shadowmaru might find a small, very young sparkling climbing his foot with the help of magnetic hands and feet!
The little sound and sudden sensation of something clinging to his leg caused the ninja mech to smile. He’d sensed someone’s signal nearby, and wasn’t surprised to see the small Snowskimmer adventurously clambering up.
“Where do you think you’re going, little one?” he said, crouching down and smirking with amusement. Then he thought for a moment before plucking the sparkling off and setting him down in front of him. A quick mental command, and he transformed into his canine mode. Then his head quickly bumped under Snowskimmer’s rear and flicked upward, sending him rolling back onto his shoulders. “Want to go exploring?” he asked, trotting around in a circle.
