Following the low-pressure front Raphael, which brought snow to many places around Greece on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, another low-pressure weather system, dubbed Sophia, reached Greece on Thursday.
As heavy snow fell across large parts of northern and central Greece, but also on the mountains around Athens and even some of the islands, Instagrammers rejoiced. Taking to the streets, to the woods and to the mountain tops, they captured magical landscapes.
