Arthur learned very fast after you both shared your feelings that you were a hugger.

you probably gave him a hug more than a dozen times per day. 

At first Arthur was taken back by it. 

He wasn’t used to affection by any means

Even when he was with Mary, she didn’t show as much affection towards him.

You both have argued time to time about your clingyness, mainly about hugging him at the wrong time.
