Kazia adjusted her backpack strap and walked through the cemetery until she got to Ezra's small headstone. "Hey buddy. You missed th' grand opening of 'm shop, 'm very disappointed in you." She knelt down and slid the bag off her shoulder and dug around until she pulled out a small pink and grey back. "Even though ya didnt make it i thought i should bring you somethin', so you're not missin' out." Kaz set the bag down in front of the tombstone and sat down resting her back against the grave opposite to his. "So this makes it th' third most important thing ta me that you've missed? Some friend you are, Ezzy. Missin' out on my high school graduation 'nd my collage graduation." She closed her eyes and let out a sigh. "Just so ya know you really did peg me right on th' day we met. You were like th' third stray I picked up that year. You were by far th' strangest one I 'ave ever helped out, 'nd the only one I wanted ta stick around. You were also th' last one I took in, you kinda made me a little more wary of helpin' strangers so, thanks for that I guess." Kazia opened her eyes and pulled out her phone, "Hey, 'm sorry, I 'avnt visited in a while 'nd sorry that this one was so short. But runnin' a new business takes up a lot of time. I'll be back sometime next week though. You enjoy th' cake now." She stood up, picked up her backpack. "Love ya Ez."

Kazia managed to talk Ezra into taking Ender on a walk with her. “Oh quit your grumblin’ you didnt ‘ave ta come. Just ‘cause its cloudy doesnt mean its gonna rain.” She should have kept her mouth shut. Because less than ten minutes after they left the house and she spoke it started to down pour. “Jus’ dont. I know what you’re gonna say jus’ dont.” Kazia yanked on her dogs leash and shivered slightly. The rain its cold okay?
