snuzi said: No problem :]. Crickets might be a bit much for a flytrap. They’re usually better for larger pitcher plants. The easiest thing to feed them would be small mealworms or dried insects that you can purchase at a pet store. Hope this helps :]

Thank you! That makes sense. I am going to have to figure something out then hahaha. I had a thought a while ago and I am going to run it by you to see what you think. If you bought crickets and stored them in the freezer and gave the plant one of those monthly, do you think that would work? Being in an apartment this high up, we don't get a lot of insects, but maybe that sort of thing would work?

Also don’t trigger its trap non-stop because that uses a heck of a lot of energy and will stunt its growth.

Thank you!! All of that makes sense!! Luckily, I am not the type of person to poke and prod at the traps lol. I won't even do that to my Mimosa Pudica when it grows, maybe once for the novelty of it but that's all. But it's good info to have at any rate!! I won't touch him, I have plenty of other plants to fondle lol. I would love to use rain water, I will have to get some the next time it rains. I will use distilled until that happens though. What about feeding them, or does the photosynthesis make up for that since they are getting more light than they would in their nature environment?
