3 In her Sights

------ ☾  Demona had been in stone sleep for the past twelve hours, and it was soon time to wake up. As soon as the darkness brought its cloak over her body, her stone skin began to crack and spider web along her form. Her eyes were the first thing seen; red pools almost violently contrasting to the monochrome color scheme of her stoneskin. The stone statue straightened from its crouch with a wildcat's roar, wings outspread to either side and her arms extending upwards with clenched fists.

            Once the skin was completely off of her person, only then did she notice someone behind her. Eyes still red she spun on the intruders, wings still out,

           "Who are you?!"
