-montreal’s mayor resigned after being charged with like 11 counts of corruption and fraud or something
-there may or may not exist a video of toronto’s mayor rob ford smoking crack, in addition to the fuckload of other crazyass things rob ford has done
-senator mike duffy is found to have used over 90k of taxpayer money he wasn’t entitled to — repays the taxpayer with money that, as it turns out, was loaned to him by our prime minister’s chief of staff, who then promptly resigns while our pm claims no knowledge
-government of ontario is in the midst of a shitstorm because they were found to have deleted emails in what looks to be an attempt to hide the fact that they realized a decision they made to cancel a project was going to cost millions more than they had announced
