17. Brickwork

@askshivanulegacy offered up a few choices of prompts for our kids and the decision was made for me when all but one were snapped up by other people within the space of a few minutes, haha. So I sent myself crosseyed over this while watching ‘My Octopus Teacher’ (very cute, I recommend) but thankfully digital work is very forgiving and offers a lot of ‘cheats’ that would be impossible with my usual hand drawn efforts!

I’ve realised the first two weeks of my challenge focused more on emotion and expression whereas the upcoming two are more environmental, so let’s see what happens ahh I might’ve shot myself in the foot a little. These two are either on the run from the Empire or taking a moment’s rest during some furious Pokemon Go playing, it works either way.

Spent Thanksgiving week in Cambridge. C got to visit with several former students now attending area colleges; I got to walk down memory lane, including trips to former workplaces (including Grendel’s), play places (including Grendel’s), and the Harvard Archives.
