when mimi loses control, her magic also starts to go awry. it doesn't do what she wants it to do. it can harm not only the people around her but herself as well. fires will start to rage, fires inextinguishable and too hot for anyone to get too close, and if it's sunny, clouds take over the sky, things will start to explode. if her mental state continues to deteriorate, it starts to storm, first rain, then lightning & thunder, and then tornadoes and hurricanes, earthquakes and floods. when she experiences severe grief, these are one of the things that happens. she has had this happen on a small scale, just when she got upset, but she is older and more in control of it now. she's emotional and does have to take care to manage them. she will do meditative rituals every now and again.
