I’ve gotten so used to panic-writing the next bit of my FFA WIP that I was genuinely shocked to realize I have the rest of this scene written and there’s still over 500 comments to go in the post??? surprisingly on top of things today!
#kaesa op#for personal reasons I have not felt at all on top of things#so that's refreshing#now I have to decide whether to do the exciting historical scene next#or the character development scene between danny and crowley#I'm so close to the denouement!#but... danny is such a sweetheart#as an oc he's harder to write than vehuel but in some ways more rewarding?#with her I can just drop in 'yeah so when I was a pirate' references#but danny has a human lifespan and comes from a specific culture#so I can't get extravagantly ridiculous and I have to do research#(and for extra bonus difficulty points#the character who was meant to fill his role originally#was going to have the part of my cultural background that I identify more with#instead I'm writing the half of my cultural background that I'm disconnected from#because my dad's cousins and my mom get along like potassium and water)#idk I'm just really glad people like him#the cool badass shootout stuff is certainly more exciting#but danny is kind and practical and that's important too
