1. What’s a song that cheers you up when you’re sad?
hmm...this is really hard because I don't have a "go to" song, but I'd have to say any upbeat kpop song. idk what it is, but once it comes on my iPod while I'm driving, I have this huge grin and I start laughing because I can't sing for shit. lol I once had a truck driver make fun of me because I was dancing in my car while driving. SUPA AWKWARD.
2. What’s your earliest memory?
ha...I'd have to say when I was a toddler and my dad snatched my binki and I chased him around the house for it. I never got it back. it's so unbelievably weird idk lol
3. Do you have any favorite school/work stories?
It'd probably have to be back in 8th grade lol. Cass, Caroline and I decided to skip PE and we just walked around campus and visited the nurse and one of our teachers. I felt like such a rebel PFT. We went to go visit our Health teacher, but she wasn't in her room. Cass was thirsty so we went in to get a drink from her fridge. That's when I noticed that the overhead had turned on and it freaked me the FUCK OUT because it can only turn on manually, and then it started changing settings. well my teacher always joked that her room was haunted and shit and there we fucking were, and NO ONE was touching the overhead. we all ran out of the room screaming and we couldn't get the door open, so we all slammed into each other and that's how Caroline broke her arm. lol before cheerleading nationals.
we were dead in her eyes that day.
4. Any strange/funny allergies?
I'm actually allergic to life. lol I don't know what it is, but sometimes I break out in these random welts. my eyes get swollen, my throat closes up, and everything is itchy. like this happens daily. WTF IS WRONG WITH ME. --other than that I am allergic to sweet pea scents and cats.
5. Who was a big influence on you?
I'd have to say my grandmother. She's my favorite person. She's hilarious, kind, warm, and sassy. Her favorite thing to tell me is, "You don't need any man to make you happy or support you. Don't accept money from a man. Support yourself." She's taught me so much. But the thing that sticks with me is that when it comes down to it, you're all alone, so don't rely too heavily on others.
6. Favorite genre of music?
mmmm, this is obviously a kpop blog, but I like all kinds of music. I love 70's/80's rock and country. I like a few "screamo" bands and rappers. pop is good too.
7. What is something you are genuinely interested in?
other cultures. it fascinates me. How people live, what they like to do, what they eat, their language, their history, all of it. I guess it's because my family doesn't really have anything that most people don't do. I love America and the fact that it's a "melting pot," but I feel like people lose their culture.
8. Do you have a favorite book?
I don't particularly like to read. But I'm currently reading the Divergent series. And I have to say that I love it so far. NO SPOILERS.
9. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
Right where I am now. I would love to visit several places, but I couldn't imagine living there.
10. What’s your favorite color?
Purple :3
11. Have you ever gone on a vacation/trip you really enjoy? If so, where?
I'm torn between my West Coast trip (from Washington State to California) and my trip to Maine. I had a lot of fun and the places were so beautiful. so many great people too. I wish I could go back...I miss our family vacations.
