making phone annoying 3 week update
- excluding bg videos while i work, screen time down by 3 hrs on average
- interruptions need to be combined with hard limits to work better (eg. 2hr allowance on socials + only 2-10 min sessions at a time) i usually end up doing 2 "big" 20 min sessions and many tiny ones
- urge to check phone still the same
- a little over 2 weeks of sleeping to silence, however i still wake up at least once unprompted
- ive ended up stopping all but one phone game, a game which a max session will be 20 mins and an average session is 10 and the whole thing is predicated on waiting (fits in so well in this experiment no wonder its the sole survivor)
- find myself unable to justify using phone to myself at times.
- i have started to tune out the interruptor messages tho, which is concerning
overall i think there's an improvement. I'm specifically targeting phone time bc my work requires a lot of tablet/pc screen time, but i dont count those in this experiment.
im slowly trying to start reintegrating non screen-based activities this next 3 weeks maybe
