Not sure what this is yet. Maybe nothing.

Just have an image of a single father telling his daughter bedtime stories and the daughter somehow having the ability to make those stories true.

Or maybe the father is a former portal fantasy hero who has forgotten his life in another world entirely except as dreams and ideas and so he tells this story, not realizing he is narrating part of his own history.

And then something something the daughter goes missing? And something something the father has to return to the portal fantasy world to get her?

Except, that feels a lot like Hook so maybe not.

I just like the idea of him telling a story he doesn't realize is true and then having to deal with the truth of it all.

one of my favorite things I’ve come up with for Susan [in modern verses] is Susan staring up her vegan, cruelty free cosmetics brand (more here [x]) because it’s just so Susan. it’s girly and feminine and pretty, but also a statement about the cosmetics industry at large. it puts her into the male dominated business world in which she has no prior experience, and really is a very brave thing for her to do considering that her entire life she’s been brushed off as ‘not very smart but at least she’s exceptionally pretty.’ 

Susan getting to prove that she is smart and she is capable and she can accomplish things other than being a perfect little lady and wife material, and doing it in a way that’s soft and feminine and in which she doesn’t sacrifice one ounce of her love of being fashionable? excellent.
