On Wednesday, my students and I go to Yogyakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is not far from Malioboro. On Thursday, we visited the temple of Prambanan. There are three temples, the Brahma, Syiwa, and Wisnu temples.
They are amazing. We visited only Brahma and Syiwa temples, because Wisnu temples is being renovated. On Friday morning, we went to Yogya Kraton. We spend about two hours there. We were lucky because we were led by a smart and friendly guide.
Then continued our journey to Borobudur. We arrived there at 4 p.m. at 5 p.m. we heard an announcement that Borobudur gate would be closed. In the evening we left from Jakarta by Wisata bus.

Last holiday, I went to Surabaya with my friend for vacation. We went there on a night bus. When we arrived in Lamongan, the bus stopped at a small restaurant for a rest. I got off the bus to get a cup of ginger tea, and my friend drank some cold lemonade. Then I went to toilet. It took only a few minutes.
When I came out again, the bus was out there. It had gone! My friend was not there too. Feeling shocked and confused, I asked a waitress about the bus. She said that the bus departed about five minutes ago.
I tried to call my friend on my cell-phone, but the battery was running low. I could not do anything but hope and pray. After several minutes, my wish come true. The bus come back! I got on the bus and walked to my scat. I was so ashamed when everybody on the bus looked at me. I could feel turn red.

On Saturday night, we went to the Town Hall. It was the last day of the year and a large crown of people had gathered under the Town Hall clock. It would strike twelve in twenty minutes’ time. Fifteen minutes passed and then at five to twelve, the clock stopped”. The big minute hand did not move. We waited and waited, but nothing happened. Suddenly someone shouted, “It’s minutes past twelve! The clock has stopped!”

It was my grandpa’s birthday last Sunday, On Friday my sister and I went shopping. We found a nice Batik shirt. We bought it and wrapped it in a blue paper, blue is mu grandpa’s favorite color.
On Saturday morning, my brother and I were in the kitchen. We made in birthday cake. It was a big and beautiful. I wrote happy birthday on it. We put some chocolate on it and a big candle on top up of it. On Sunday evening, we had a party. My uncle and my aunt came to my house. They brought some cake and flowers for my grandpa. We sat together in living room. My dad said a beautiful prayer. Then we sang “Happy birthday” and my grandpa blew out candle. He cut the cake and gave it to everybody in that room. He opened his present and was very happy with the shirt.
