I follow you and I am friends with someone else that I follow as well and lowkey wondering if this blog is actually like a sneaky side blog of theirs and you are also them or if you guys just share characteristics that make it seem like you could both be the same person. Honestly this was mostly about you listing yourself as an older millennial guy and having very well tagged posts that categorize things. I did originally intend to make this an anon message because I’m tired and I feel this probably doesn’t actually make this much sense but I see anon is not an option and I am a little curious, I will follow the long tradition of sending a message when I’m sleepy and then vaguely regretting looking silly tomorrow. Thanks for asking! The only other blog I post on is Workers for a Not Safe Paradise, which is just for things that are a little too risqué for a main blog followed by (somehow) 14,000 people. Curious though, because maybe I should follow them too, what this other blog is [I made this typo and now I have to keep it for punishment and presumed penance, I haven't had my tea yet, lay off.]?

In which an ask takes a turn well into Leftist field: I disabled anonymous asking because I got a surprising amount of hate mail and mail just accusing me of not being antifascist or anarchist enough. And...well, I don't have time for responding to that shit, because I go out in my community and actually do the work of antifascism and helping folks what need it. I'm not a terminally online Leftist, don't have time for campist tendencies, and think pigeonholing yourself to your particular party or group is...just fucking counterproductive, I wouldn't say counterrevolutionary because I really try not to be a cunt and if you're doing something that works for you, that's fucking great, gold star as long as you are not a Maoist, Stalinist, Juche-loving idiot, or support another regime big on giving medicinal lead to folks that don't like them. Also I think a lot of that shit is cosplay of the worst sort. But whatever. Anyway, I've got shit to do, rant over.

Is it wrong that sometimes I get mad at people with service dogs?

Now, I know that sounds really wrong, but hear me out before you judge me.

There are all those videos online of dogs attacking service dogs, and that is really messed up to have an unleashed dog that can’t control themselves, but there are also other videos. Videos where a kid is like “oh look a dog!” and doesn’t even reach out to pet it, but the person still yells at them, or the old lady who’s really trying to pull her little tiny dog away from the service dog + person, but just can’t and she’s getting yelled at. There’s also the videos of people’s dogs minding their own business, and just like looking over at the dog and walking along, but they’ve somehow done something to get yelled at, and the worst one where a guy accidentally drops his dogs leash, and is scrambling to get it, but his dog goes over to the service dog to meet them, and he’s still trying to pull his dog away, but he’s getting yelled at too.

I mean, I get that you have to control a dog, but even a well trained dog can still fuck up.

But anyway, I think the worst thing is always the people who are rude for no reason. Someone pointing out a dog doesn’t deserve to be berated. Neither does a group of kids who asks politely to pet the dog, and the person says no, and they go away. The little caption thing is always saying “don’t teach your kids to be bad people like these ones”, but they were polite, and didn’t even touch the dog because the owner said no. Those are the worst ones.

Does this make me a bad person?

Because people need service dogs for valid reasons, and I feel bad for being annoyed sometimes at certain service dog accounts on socials.

I dunno, I feel bad, but I kinda feel like those feelings are valid sometimes?

Edit: I know those people like that are the minority, I’m sorry, it just bother me

Just a quick plea

With the hate Javicia is getting already and will continue to get please....PLEASE BLACK MEN...support her! Defend her! Don’t let racist tweets, comments, etc get by without reinforcing our support of Javicia as Batwoman. They dropped the dope pics and ALREADY she’s getting hate (even from some Black men - which is especially STUPID). Time to grow up and pony up. If not for you...how about for your daughters? little sisters? nieces?

Some of ya’ll mf’ers failed Candace Patton and Anna Diop...time to break this cycle of non-support. If the writing sucks...attack the writers not Javicia (she’s gonna get enough hate!!!)

My Thoughts: Personal Lives -The Flash

I’m seen a lot of “spilling tea” about GG and CP presence on SM and how that reflects on their relationship - personal and professional. I reblogged a piece early on about the stress of shipping stars together outside of their working relationship. The dangers and the stress on the two parties the article notes because of this can make those relationships MORE precarious, not more endearing. I encourage a reread for those who did not.

Anyway, my thoughts have to do with GG’s posts over the last weeks especially on IG and even his family’s. Many of this pics contain his girlfriend L. As a fan of GG I’m happy if he’s happy and the fact that he has this woman in his private life does not demean his professional relationship or any friendship he may have with CP. I have noted that  when these two interact  even the least bit on SM that it is often blown into likely far more than the playful banter it is meant to be(and also the PR they may be going for - it is a working relationship). With respect to both their lives I have to ask the question- if CP was posting pics of the special guy in her life sharing the holidays with her family, enjoying her BD and whatever bit of personal downtime they get would we begrudge the fact that GG wasn’t responding to every post or any for that matter? These people work hard, LONG hours to give us the performances that make us want to make these relationships they craft on scene so real to us. Just like we want it to work on the show we want them to work off and it does not work that way NOR does it need to. GG and CP can have good relationships with other people outside the FLASH and WA fandom and still be friends. Folks the FLASH will not be on air  forever and this has only put both of these amazing talents in the pathway for more great things to come. Let them ENTERTAIN us, both most importantly if we truly love them and respect them LET them live their lives respectfully and support them in that as well. IMO there is no greater gift that anyone can give to someone they love is that. WA is proof of that ;-)

I have to get something off my chest

THIS IS NOT A SONNET, Y’ALL. I love this movie. It’s an EXCELLENT adaptation of a Shakespeare play. But the assignment in the English class was to re-create a sonnet, based on the Shakespearean 141. The above is the famous submission from our heroine, Kat. Now I know you can interpret Mr. Morgan’s assignment to mean “update this poem” but I also have seen people be like “I love the sonnet from 10 Things I Hate About You” and it really yeets my beets and here’s why:

Shakespearean sonnets have a specific rhyme scheme: ababcdcdefefgg. Kat’s is abcbdefeghihjj.

Shakespearean sonnets have 14 lines. 12 plus a couplet at the end. Arguably Kat’s has 14 lines if you break it up as I did above, but really she has 16 lines with the same rhyme scheme she’d been using before and it would be abcbdefeghihjklk. or you’d break it up LESS and she’d have aabbccdd and only 8 lines, all couplets.

Shakespearean sonnets use iambic pentameter. I’m not gonna break it down, but Kat’s does not. There are more and less than ten syllables per line. It’s all over the place. She has no meter. I know the teacher didn’t specify when she asked, but it’s not a sonnet if it has no meter.

Dope movie for its time, great cast, entertaining as hell. But please don’t call it a sonnet!

More Trump Ignorance Hurting People and the Environment

The bolded part is really important. See, the truth is, Trump HATES Cali’s new governor who REALLY hates him and has openly criticised the POTUS. So, it is funny that our scientifically backward believing President is having this incorrect, “light bulb moment” now isn’t it?

I guess, taking away money to help the families of the 86 people that died will help prevent forest fires. Or, stop them from happening in the first place? I don’t know how I missed that. I guess because it’s not true. Also, I suppose it is easier to blame PEOPLE directly and be a bully when you don’t get your way (IE: the STUPID OVER ANYBODY WITH A BRAIN’S DEAD BODY- WALL) then to use your brain, listen to people who know more than you (IE: SCIENTISTS) and come up with comprehensible solutions.

To every single person who wanted “change”... Happy yet?  To every single person who thought, “it doesn’t matter who you vote for! They’re all the same!” ... Are you ready to admit you were wrong yet?

Hopefully the people of the United States have learned a lesson and NEVER make a mistake this big again, like voting into office a MONSTER as bad as Donald Trump.

I absolutely hate when someone shows me a funny animal video that is just animal abuse. I mean I've seen funny animal videos that are just that, funny animals being animals. But sometimes there are really fucked up shit and I just want to kill the people enacting it and hurt every person that laughed.
