Chapter 78 - Signs

Synopsis: Hades finally presents himself to the Specters of this generation, however, his vessel is clearly unable to keep up with its soul, and so they are ordered to seek a suitable vessel on Earth and ready for war. Near Sanctuary, signs of Specter activity grow common, and Karim meets an intruder that hints at the monstrous enemies they are about to face. Being inaugurated as Aquarius, Hyoga finally presents himself before Athena, and she refers to a power the Saints lack which will be crucial against the Underworld. Chapter 88 - The One Never To Fall

Synopsis: Jabu, Geki, and Ichi are forced to face a Specter so vile, not even the harm of his own allies may phase him. However, with his presence on the way to Aries, it seems no Saint will reach the temples again, meaning Athena's most powerful Bronze Saints would struggle with liberating the Ecliptic. At the same time, Aldebaran encounters Myu and Raimi, whom he holds back. It is at the arrival of a former friend that he questions whether he'll be able to stand as Taurus' wall any longer. Synopsis: After Nachi's death, Sanctuary stays in high alert, though not for long. Soon they find out what Athena meant by the Specters' unnatural means of attack, and the evil that they bring to foe and innocent alike. In Rozan, Shiryu meets with those who came to kill the sentinel, and though he may be ready to face them himself, warriors are not the only ones Specters think of as targets. Chapter 85 - The Insider

Synopsis: Aiacos watches the Specters prepare their unnatural means for the first assault on Sanctuary. In the meantime, after sparring with Kiki, Mu is approached by Aldebaran to aid him with achieving the Eighth Sense, which he continues to struggle with. In the grounds, Anka and Alicia follow Nachi's recent strange behavior, then end up uncovering a piece connecting the civil war, Poseidon's aggression, and Karim's murder. The results of this are worsened tensions among Athena's people, and a greater hunger for revenge against the Underworld. Chapter 84 - When Memories Burn

Synopsis: Aphrodite, Aiolia, Milo, Hyoga, June, and Shaina are able to achieve the Eighth Sense, whereas Aldebaran and Cancer's Aspirant continue to struggle. Ikki, under Shaka's guidance, reaches what seems to be a dark realization about his soul, and is surprised to learn the essence of this truth. Treated by the High Priestess, Shun finds out what may have been the mark of Pandora; in the meantime, the Judges debate going forward without a pure vessel, and tell the Specters to prepare for an assault. Synopsis: Athena speaks to Seiya and Shun on matters of their past lives as Tenma and Alone, and on her plans for Hades in the future. Shiryu is sent to deliver his master's Gold Cloth, but finds out he is still missing. Unable to return, he instead continues meditating, and at last achieves the Eighth Sense. In Rozan's jungle, a strange phenomenon appears to grow amid the trees, though it is impossible to know whether natural or man-made. Chapter 82 - Reflections On Pegasus

Synopsis: Minos is delighted to see that Aiacos has fished out the lost soul of another servant of Athena, bound to serve Hades in the days to come. While the Specters turn their attention to Japan, Sanctuary focuses on preparations for the war, and Anka learns something about Nachi that could pester her for the time to come. In Sagittarius, Seiya stumbles upon the Eighth Sense in a manner similar to how he did the Seventh Sense, and learns secrets of a past life that bring up questions about Athena's intentions.
