A Girl Can Dream

Since i'm about to celebrate my 20th this July.. and i'm also about to wear a toga and walk on stage with a teeth-y smile on August... I've come down to my superficial wishlist! ...but then, a girl can dream so here

1. A turntable!!! All music lovers would understand why I want this! 

2. Cause Instagram is for hipsters and Polaroids are for hipsters as well 

3. Is there a need for me to explain why?

  4. Whats the worth of a turntable anyway?

5. There will come a time that a girl will have studded dreams and this is my time. Shoes from Topshop & Zara. If I can't have one of each then at least i should have one. Which do you think is better?

  This is my list for now but of course when someone provides me unlimited disposable money then it'll be a lot easier!

Today, I decided to wear something sporty (and kinda revealing). But i woudn't honestly wear this top without an undershirt! HAHAHA

Wore my Vans that i had since I was in high school. Those shoes cost but it's worth it because of the good quality!

Brocades & Velvets

Last time, i made a costume in a pastel color bathed with lace and things that glitter. It was for my Costume Design class and I did a version of Christine Daae's Masquerade dress. 

This term I am doing not only one but 6 costumes! 4 different costumes for 1 female character and then 1 each for 2 male characters. And yes, it's definitely outside my comfort zone. I really like working around with light colors, soft fabric and a lot of lace. I'll have to scrub them for a while and get used to working with bolder colors or should i say warm and really heavy fabric. It's a call for brocades and velvets this time! I'm pretty much excited to get swatches and start sourcing yet i'm really scared executing them especially it'll be my first time to do costume for men.

If you're wondering what are these costumes for, well, it's for our batch's thesis. We're doing a Moliere play, Le Malade Imaginaire which is his last play before he passed away. It's a classic comedy and we're doing two adaptations: one in classical as in straight traditional Baroque and another one in a modern setting with a whole lot of surprises!

Hello world, hope you're listening

So haven't been really writing here.. all i do is post music and some pictures of my face. 

Hi! I'm okay. I'm really glad i'm on a month long vacation because when I return to school everything's gonna be a bloodshed. It's my final term.. I'll be graduating on October. I really hope i'd be able to find an internship for film or tv that doesn't actually abuse interns. Being out there is really scary but you always have to stand tall and face them fearless. Don't make them think you're fragile because they will take advantage of you.. they will eat you. 

For the past few months my mind has been occupied with a lot of things. Such as new music and new people. I'm happy to say that i've buried that person I used to talk about. 

I'm also proud to say that someone who deserves me, found me. So much better than any other asshole who kept failing in the past. I feel really golden and it may sound crazy but it's like everything's brand new! It has been a long time since.. but i'm getting used to it again.. getting used to the feeling of being in love and someones actually reciprocating it! That's new!

I feel so giddy! Good things have been coming my way :)
