is there anything more romantic than a forehead touch???? leaning in, eyes closed, resting your forehead against someone? i think of din, wearing his helmet, unable to lock eyes with someone he cares about, tilting inward to rest against the person he loves and, in that brief stretch of time, relaxing. calming down. or kida, soothed by the presence of a lover, slipping her hand around to the back of their neck, leaning close for comfort, for safety. garrus does it too - since turians don't have lips, turians are all about nuzzling in. leaning in, showing his affection with little sounds and that press of his forehead into someone else's. there's so much intimacy in the action - especially after like... a big battle, or a close call. the steadying, simple hand drawing you close. eyes shut. breathing hard. resting together. drinking each other in. ugh.
