To all my fellow soccer players.
Captain's position should be for the people who have been playing for years and actually know what they are doing. It should be for the ones who can direct their teammates to the correct spot without making them feel bad. It should be for the ones who know that they don't need to score all the goals, they give others a chance. It should be for the ones who can assist their teammates and help explain how the team as a whole can get better, not just singling out specific people. It should be for the ones who can spot what needs to be fixed and how it could be accomplished. You are a team, a family. If you would like to have an amazing season, choose wisely.
