this is literally just a post of me girlcrushing over my one love sal casillas. she is my role model and because of her, i feel like im actually making progress in working out and staying active.

she has a freaking backbone and she doesn't take shit from anyone. she literally called kulti all the stereotypical german names in the book, and she didn't give a crap if he was hurt by it or not.
her undeniable love for her family. her loyalty to her brother when kulti hurt him was the best, she had a crush on him, but that didn't stop her from remembering the people who actually matter to her/been there for her since the beginning
her awareness of when she was wrong about certain things, like the whole amber thing even though amber was a bitch to her after all of it
her realistic inner monologues whenever she thought how hot kulti was
she has a routine and she stands by it. like honey teach me to be like you. she freaking does 5 miles runs at 6am like wtf
the respect she has for her dreams is absolutely admirable. she works hard for everything & she rightfully earned everything she has ever made/wanted
the times she would call out kulti for being an asshole. I LOVED THEM. I LOVE IT WHEN A FL PUSHES FOR THE ML TO BE BETTER - the field scene when he talked shit about her dad, when kulti talked bad abt her income, & when he was being a jerk for being jealous about franz LOL
the love she has for her teammates. i swear the salxharlowexjenny scenes were the flipping best
the way she was patient with kulti throughout the book. i swear i would have lost a nerve just talking to him, i absolutely respect her.
the way she makes soccer camps for low-income kids
she makes homemade face masks for god's sakes
the kindness she has for the paparazzi even though they made her nervous
her friendships with simon and mark
the way she didn't put out that she was the granddaughter of a famous argentinian soccer player for her mom
the way she can be vulnerable about her feelings
knowing what she deserves and she does not deserve anything less
