Banks Aren't Charities

Banks are the first to point out that they aren't charities; that they can't just give away money, or they would run out of money to give. Honestly, banks typically havw low amounts of liquid cash, as most of it is in investments, so even if they wanted to, they couldn't. Banks aren't charities. so why do we take banker advice on social programmes at all? If they want to donate to a registered charity, sure, fine, let them, if they want to run a feeless account for said registered charity, sure, fine, let them, but otherwise the two are unrelated. There are plenty of independant economists who can give us unbiased advice on social programmes.
