Urick had come across all sorts of beings since arriving here, and running into Gabriella (as unlikely as it might have seemed) didn't surprise him all too much. What did surprise him was how small they were! Urick could have sworn Gabriella was ten times this size the last time both of them spoke, and now look at them, they were no bigger than a wyvern. 'How the mighty have fallen' was all Urick could think as he stepped closer to Gabriella, a huge grin hidden beneath his paper mask. Whoever was bringing people here must have had a great sense of humour, because something like this was bound to shake up a dragons sense of superiority. Good job, mysterious masked figures, good job.
"What's on my head? What about what happened to you, Gabriella?" Urick knew his choice of head-ware at present was... ridiculous, but why address that when they could talk about her problems instead? "You look different, completely different." An understatement to be sure. "You're about as big as I'd expect One would to be, if they happened to become a dragon." Letting out a chuckle, Urick kneels down somewhat, so that he and Gabriella were both at eye level, and in a cheerful voice, he then goes on to say, "Don't get me wrong, Gabriella, it's not a bad thing, because you're positively adorable now! Adorable like a huge, scaly cat or something-- I could almost pet you!" Urick would pet Gabriella too, but he knew that would anger them immensely, and he had no doubts that they could still melt his face off with dragonfire, even with their current size.
“That’s the question on everyone’s mind though, Gabriella,” standing up straight, Urick gives a shake of the head, and a shrugging of his shoulders, “how did I, you, or any of us get here? Nobody knows. Don’t know why any of us are here either.” A small chuckle escaping his lips, Urick adds, “Maybe we’ll all get lucky and this will turn out to be something harmless like an overly elaborate party. I’d take that.”
