10 Sock Commandments
What makes socks so versatile? Maybe it’s because they’re so comfortable and you can wear them almost anywhere. Maybe it’s because they can be worn with almost anything. But be careful, there is such thing as wearing socks the wrong way. There are levels to style and these 10 sock faux pas can completely ruin your well thought ensemble. Don’t let this happen to you. Here are the 10 sock commandments, don’t break them or else….
Thou shall not tuck jeans into socks – Save the stocking stuffers for Christmas.
Thou shall not cover up continuing sock patterns or designs – If you’re going to cover them up, try solid color socks, instead.
Thou shall not mix sock patterns with shoe patterns that clash – Doesn’t the thought of something like striped socks with fuzzy, hot pink shoes give you nightmares?
Thou shall not wear sock styles that are cut lower than your shoes – Your shoes will be the only one to see them.
Thou shall not ever wear thong sandals with socks – This sounds like it hurts.
Thou shall not wear socks that aren’t the proper size – Why would you want to do that?
Thou shall not ever wear dirty socks – Wearing white, dirty socks are a definite no-no.
Thou shall not roll down or bundle long socks – It’s a little distracting.
Thou shall not wear thigh high socks with mid-length cut dresses or bottoms – Really, what’s the point of wearing thigh highs if no one can even see your thighs?
Thou shall not exercise without socks – It’s going to hurt and it might smell, a little.
See what we mean? Now that you know the 10 sock commandments, expresseth thyself with creative socks styles that won’t break the rules.
