Getting others interested in SoCal Makercon
I had the opportunity to get out there and spread the world about the maker movement and SoCal MakerCon. From Ice cream shops, coffee shops, playgrounds, library, parks and the swimming pool I made sure to interact with a wide variety of people form different ages and backgrounds. Most of them did not know what a maker is or about the event happening in November. Some children that knew about drones and robots were interested in attending. There was one parent that had taken his three young children to a similar exhibit and found it very rewarding for their learning.
Check out some of the spots I sopped by and people that volunteer to be part of the shot!
