She's Gotta Have It has inspired me to start writing again. Are first, I didn't feel the energy that was developing. Then I listened to the way they spoke and was like these topics need words that are linked together through poetry or prose.

So glad I wasn’t alone in this! Hope we keep that inspiration going ‘cause it’s wonderful. I love seeing people be inspired, it sort of attracts other people as well - and there’s nothing more enjoyable than finding someone to conversate with who is inspired just like you - maybe not by the same thing, but you can literally feel the glow they have inside. 

Be creative - that means you’ll be yourself. Best of luck in your writing!

I dont work out due to my disability, but I want to try yoga. However, I'm worried about going because I'm heavy.

yeah. the way the fitness industry and culture is set up it’s like they don’t want to you exercise unless you are very much physically able + slim. you’ve probably heard of her but i’ve heard good things about Jessamyn Stanley. looks like she has a few tutorial videos on youtube, if you’re into those. when i feel especially anxious it feels a lot easier to just try to follow videos at home. i barely started looking into this stuff but body-positive yoga and pilates seem promising. lmk if you do end up trying yoga!

Did you cut your hair or is it pulled back?

i cut it! while i was “growing it out” i just kept tucking my hair behind my ears so i figured why not just... save myself the trouble lol

When I was growing my hair out from a pixie, headbands and bobby pins were my best friends

mm yeah bobby pins!! i should have bought some instead of trying to wear a hat every day. now i just have to wait two more months for this cut to get long enough lol

ohh thank u for asking ;__; i think i just needed to write that out, i have a tendency to feel really intensely and it has to be exhaled. for now i am blasting carly rae jepsen & letting myself forget about some realities lol

@soeasilyamused yeah it's a weird thing to tell an employee & in retrospect maybe it was more a concern about prioritizing... but yeah she was like 'i know u want to do well but u don't have to be so thorough with everything. let some things slide and just get it done faster'
