Drinks, fight and all those types of night || Richard, Thomas and Adrian
Now that the kids weren't living at the house, Adrian didn't feel as guilty going out for a drink with Ric, after all - he wouldn't be leaving Jason to take care of anyone. And honestly, he needed a drink. With everything that'd happened, a drink actually helped quite a bit. It took the edge off of everything. "Have you been practicing drinking without me? Because last time I remember, I could out drink you. Not the other way around."
[For once, John was home alone. Well, mind you the home was his brothers apartment that he hadn't been in for a few days because he was with Helen at her house. But regardless, it was nice to take a shower in peace after a long run through the town. The thought of Thomas and what if he was in the woods like the other guy kept tugging at his mind, filling it with only that as he took a shower.]
[Once he was finished, John walked to his room and quickly dressed only to hear someone moving around in the kitchen. It was unfamiliar movements and he narrowed his eyes, slowly moving towards the room]
✍
The news of the death hit John hard but it had to his his brother harder. Honestly, he liked Alexander but he was worried about Thomas. The man he loved was dead and Thomas well… John wasn’t sure how Thomas was reacting to it. Chewing on his thumb nail for a moment, John watched his blonde friend. She was…she was leaving. John didn’t like that. Ashlyn had no family here, Alexander was the last of it. John wasn’t sure if Alexander knew how many lives he’d touched, how many people that were affected by him. The thought of seeing the body dropped into the ground made him sick to his stomach and John turned away. No one should go out this way. No one should have to live through life knowing that the omega werewolf was killed. It opened John’s eyes, showing him that life was more delicate than what it really was.
He could heard the soft crying of Ashlyn and John closed his eyes. Alexander was like another brother to him, someone that John would have loved to see in his life more, in his brothers life more, in everyone’s. Now that he was gone, John didn’t know how to help the others. It was going to be interesting and well, he didn’t want to think about that. All he wanted was for Alexander to popup and say he was joking.
That wasn’t going to happen. Life didn’t work that way.
Headcanon: Fondest memory.
Of all of John’s fondest memories, they go back to when he was younger and involving Thomas. The one that sticks out the most to him is when John was about six or seven and they were at their parents lake house in Washington. John, like most times, were following Thomas around and doing whatever he did whether it be fishing, swimming, riding on the jet skii’s (even if he was too little). It was a time where John worshipped the ground Thomas walked and Thomas was always there. It was a time that John would always remember.
headcanon day prompt: first day in school
First day of school is an interesting day for John. When he was younger, he’d been eager to see if others actually paid attention to him or if they just went on their merry way. For year after year, he’d always been there and soon the first day of school was just another day for the youngest Greenberg. It didn’t have the same excitement as it once had. With Thomas no longer in school, John didn’t have anyone to talk to. There wasn’t someone that came over to him at lunch and ask how his day was. Now, John just treats the first day of school like any other day.
headcanon prompt: lacrosse
Lacrosse was one of the sports that John picked up for two reasons: everyone else played and his brother played as well. When he was younger, John wanted to be just like his brother, he looked up to Thomas so hard. Now though, lacrosse is a passion of John’s. He loves the sport and now that he has the bite, John’s been promised a starting position next year and he couldn’t be more excited. It’s something he’s always wanted because maybe people will pay attention to him now and actually see him as the person that he is.
