Okay, I officially give up on CMM. I thought I kinda liked it. I don't. I thought the concept was gonna work. It doesn't. My faves are completely ooc, they're forcing me to spend time with people I don't give two fucks about, and the only thing that could somewhat salvage it (the actual MM and the finding clues thing) is also poorly written now. This is a first draft. A bad one.

Because I mean this clearly isn't about the relationships, neither friendships nor romantic ones; it's not written with the original story in mind. This is "throwing the characters in a scenario and seeing what happens". But it doesn't even do that. Pretty much everyone's ooc, so they didn't bother even respecting the characters THEY created! What's up with that? Amnesia was one thing but this is too much.

I get that you spend a fixed amount of time with people regardless of who you're with, but if you're not even gonna have any individual scenes at least have the dialogue differ so your partner doesn't address you like a stranger 80% of the time? How hard can it be?

And I don't know how it is with the other "victims" but apparently Priya knows exactly what happened when she was "murdered" even though she didn't know she had been until we showed up. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE FOR FUCK'S SAKE. It's borderline expositional, it's just infodumping for the sake of what? Stating the obvious? This is the only thing that seemed to be worth it so far, and you just ruined it by having three characters in a row going "i ThInK LuCaS cOuLd Be A rEd HeRrInG" well no shit, Sherlock. Damn.

And why do I even need a sidekick? I don't, thank you. And I wouldn't tolerate it irl because it's unfair. It's so dumb. If you're gonna force me to be glued to someone all night maybe you can, I don't know, make it my LI? Not to mention, it would be extremely awkward if you have rejected whoever you chose. This has been me ever since Priya decided to follow me everywhere. "Let's go investigate":

I- I don't even know what else to say. I'm being negative again, I know, but I mean NOTHING happened. Sure, we got a half-assed scene with our LI but other than that? We already knew about Chelsea and Rocco, we didn't advance the mystery... All we got was a bunch of small talk. SMALL TALK. Why even bother with this, FB?

Ok I'm gonna give my two cents about the trailer. Did anyone else got the feeling that Ellie looked like she was out of herself while playing? I don't know, the fact that it seems that she plays the guitar whenever she needs to 'let go' of things and also when Joel appears, he sorts of enters in from that bright light and that, even though we don't see his face, he doesn't look aged at all (i know that the game may occur only a few years from the original but still, he doesn't look like time has affected him) My guest is that he's die and the ones Ellie wants to find and kill did something to him (and maybe all the people that were on tommy's place??)

Idk I really want to see granpa Joel kicking ass but I got the feeling that something like this is going to happen

Okay, here's something that's been bothering me since i first read CoHF. I just have to let this out, it's pure ranting, so you can ignore this if you want. As it says in my blog, i'm from Argentina, more specifically, Buenos Aires, so imagine my exitement when i saw my city being mentioned in my favourite series. The Buenos Aires Institute is mentioned when the Runner of the institute, Matthias Gonzales, breaks into the Accords Hall as an endarkened. And it's him i have a problem with. Well, not him per se, just his name. Why? Two reasons, one for his nane and one for his last name. Lets start with his name, Matthias. The correct way of spelling his name in spanish (language spoken in Argentina) is Matias. No extra "t", no "h". Maybe CC did it that way so that english speaking people could know how to pronounce it, but it's still wrong. Now lets go to what bothers me the most, his last name, Gonzales. Gonzales is a hispanic name, but guess wha? Is not a Shadowhunter name. We all know Shadowhunter names have to have a meaning, and a emblem to go with it. Gonzales doesn't and can't have any of them. So english speaking people can understand, a Hispanic shadowhunter named Gonzales is the equivalent of an American shadowhunter named Williams. Not a Shadowhunter last name. You know which ones can be Shadowhunter names? Rosales (like some of the TDA characters, al least CC got that one right) Alguilar Montenegro Villalba Espinoza There are many others that I can't think of right now, but you get the point. Anyway, that's what has been bothering me for a while. Especially Gonzales. IS NOT A SHADOWHUNTER NAME!!! Sorry for the rant, but i needed to get it out of my sistem.
