She’d seen the man around the gym. Though she didn’t know his name. And for the moment, Sofia honestly didn’t care. Didn’t both with the pre spar introductions she usually made when going against someone new. She was irritated at the moment. Too irritated for pleasantries.
Frustration kept her more still than she usually managed to be when she sparred with someone. Frustration gave her the stance and the focus her grandfather always said she lacked. But she hated fighting this way. Hated when the emotion she was feeding off was anger or frustration.
That didn’t stop her from faking left before throwing out a jab with her right hand, aimed right at his ribs.
