Hi, lovey! I’m coming to you anon because I don’t want you to feel attacked, but I just wanted to let you know editing cartoons and things of the like for poc representation like people edit total drama characters for profile icons is okay, but editing a real white woman to be dark skinned like in this post is considered digital blackface. I know that’s not your intention but i just wanted to let you know. Thank you so much for being inclusive, there’s stuff of interracial couples on Pinterest if you want to depict a darker skinned woman :)

I've searched Pinterest for interracial couples before, and it's actually pretty limited, but that just means again, I need to do some cutting and cropping to create the desired pose rather than a recolor in this instance.

But it does bear the question. Should most of my Jeff edits stop as well? I do have to edit skin tone on arms for those most of the time. usually due to limited pose options?

Hmm....ok I admit these are going to be oddly specific but here we go.

Jeff:

I imagine Jeff having a mural of a wrecked Lovecraftian Hawkins on his back. Broken shackles on the inside of one ankle, it's a very small tattoo. I'm not gonna lie I imagine him with at least one teardrop tattoo as I picture him helping in the battle for Hawkins.

Gareth:

I imagine Gareth eventually getting the band logo tattooed on his collarbone. His first ever DnD character on his arm, his grandpa's name on the back of his neck.

A barcode of his future partner's name put into numbers on his wrist.

Eddie:

In my head, it's always placed somewhere else but - I imagine Eddie having the tree of Gondor & his mother's name in Elvish. He has pompoms in memory of Chrissy if she didn't make it on his neck, otherwise, he's got bite mark tattoos instead on his neck.

Bat wing tattoos on his back if Kas/Vamp! Eddie.

He let the other guys sign his body with the tattoo needle. So he could be the first one to have their signatures.

Probably a set of D20 somewhere on his body.

He gets a tattoo in memory of Cliff that's some artistic take on the initials CB.

I'm a firm believer, he has a tramp stamp.

Freak1

Freak1 has this large serpent going down one leg you could probably see the snake's head down by his ankle.

Multiple tattoos representing his favorite bands. He has Nordic runes on his chest, and a Franz Kafka quote on his shoulder blade area in Hebrew. Plus, the Band's name translated into Hanzi characters.

I've always imagined Freak1 to be big on culture and travel. so I imagine he tries to incorporate that into his tattoos.

I've only seen people complaining about people fighting on my dash and zero actual fighting. I'm in my lane, hanging out at Family Video, thriving with my fics. You're also on the good side of the fandom 💜

I think every fic writer goes OOC to some extent for the sake of the stories we have in our brains, and because everyone perceives characters a little differently, ie me seeing Eddie as a virgin in the show based on a variety of factors, and Steve as only having actually had sex with Nancy and only getting as far as making out with other girls before her but using the 'slutty' girls to build his reputation (bc why else would he have such a problem getting dates after high school if he'd had such game in high school?). But there are limits to believability for me. Like how I don't see Eddie ever doing heroin by any method no matter what, and how I don't believe Billy would ever be a grapist as some fics I've come across have him portrayed nor that he wasn't without positive motives in what he did like trying to protect Max and Lucas from his father's wrath the best he knew how even if he went about it in an unhealthy way.

Tagging it as Special K would definitely help, imo. I can't be the only one who mentally rebels against the idea of Eddie doing anything harder than that, by injection or otherwise.

You're very welcome! I was trying to not come off like a bitch or psycho, or like I'm trying to tell you what you can and can't do in *your* fic. But I also know I'd want to know if something I wrote sat wrong with anyone. <3 ilu

I'll be sure to go back and do just that. Specific tags make things so much easier for readers to weed out what they don't want to read without getting knee-deep in a fic first.
