It had felt like a long day. Of all the things he expected to happen, running into Penelope and her daughter hadn’t been one of them... their daughter. The whole thing was impossible and he didn’t know how to handle it either. It was why he had wanted to do it in private, but that had never been an option it seemed. He had practically been staring into space when he realised Sofia was there. “Sorry sweetheart, didn’t hear you come in.
