ya plus some ppl use both bi and pan and i can see luci being fine with both/either

exactly! i feel like it’s a different thing when ppl take a specifically gay character and hc them as bi or pan (or the reverse) bc that’s truly damaging, but arguing if a character is pan or bi is a little strange to me bc they’re so similar rep-wise like obviously we deserve both kinds of rep but it’s not really the same ya feel? anyway. if ppl think luci and/or maze are pan then that’s great but i’m a lil tired of being sideeyed for seeing them as bi

ya tru, but diana’s whole / creation / is v bi. the secret history of wonder woman by jill lepore is rly good, and talks abt her creator who made her bc believed women were better than men and his two wives influence on her (one which was legal - bc they were poly - but this was like the 40’s.) but anyway sorry i just care abt this too much lmao!

no no sorry you misunderstood me i love that book and i know diana has been confirmed as bi in the comics i’m just saying i doubt we’ll see her have a gf in the sequel movie even tho i would love it

@mehofkirkwall​. hey! you sound like you’ve never watched lucifer on fox. a show about how all darkness has a light, redemption, wanting to be loved, forgiven and understood. lucifer, on this show, is not evil or bad, he never was - he is our hero, or protag, and we love him bc he is learning to be human and have meaning in his life and come back to the light. luci is FANTASTIC representation and i am very happy to have him. so know what you’re saying b4 you talk pls

I have in fact watched the show and it doesn’t change my commentary. Whether he’s looking to be redeemed or not, he’s the literal devil as far as people who DON’T watch are concerned and I feel it’s irresponsible to make Lucifer a representation point for bisexual people. Because I know every xtian looking at this will go “Ah, the gays are the devil. #knew it” and leave it there.

Also the “know what you’re saying b4 you talk pls” is about as immature a way i’ve ever been told to stfu ever. I know damn well what i’m saying-- that the connotations of this character choice could damn well hurt more than help. Because bisexual people are already stereotyped as immoral/indiscriminate/deviant and this will not help.
