What you do in I, Tonya is something that took me totally by surprise. You’re playing somebody who we don’t look at and say “What a swell guy”. An yet, for me, anyway, you made understand [Jeff Gilooly] in a way is very difficult to do.

“Out in the garden now he watches her continue to flit around the yard, among the leaves and flowers, who all seem to bow toward her, seeking her gentle attention and affection. Honestly, he isn’t surprised she’s ended up outside instead of in the living room where her cell phone, and the song she was supposed to show him, lie. One glance outside and she’s usually done for. She has to feel the sunshine on her skin, speak to the plants who she cares for like beloved children, tend to her garden like a wild, untamable protector.”
