hello! i have a male french ghostly sort of chara that speaks barely above a whisper. ive been looking all over for a good voice claim but its hard to find that sort of softspoken tone? any ideas?

So first of all, I would highly recommend you look into “asmr French accent male” results on YouTube. That’s how I found Xavier’s channel. As defined by Urban Dictionary, ASMR is an acronym for “Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response.” The sole purpose of ASMR is to relax people. So there are a lot of whispery quiet people speaking nice things. (:

Another suggestion, slightly older than the last, would be Daniel Brühl playing a French restaurant owner in the movie Burnt. (He’s German, so his French accent may have a bit of a German accent, but it is pleasant to listen to.)

Hi Anon! I’m on mobile at the moment (wifi went kaputz) so I don’t have links for you today. But I would suggest Roo Pane, his song “Land of the Living” has a bit of a talking feel as well as singing. He can go quite low but tends to sing higher and has a soft feel. All the Luck in the World, “Golden October” and Matthew and the Atlas, “I Will Remain” are also soft and on the medium-high end. Let me know if this helps or if you’d like some more! Thanks.
