Chocolate & Confessions 🍫💌

💫 Written / Studio Start: October 10, 2025

This one started really small, as most songs do. I was sitting in my room late at night, the city outside soft and quiet, a mug of hot chocolate warming my hands. I just started scribbling little thoughts about tiny secrets, confessions I’d held in my chest for a long time the ones nobody ever really asked about, and the ones I didn’t always know how to share.

The melody came first, soft, tentative, just a little hum at first, then a full line. I remember leaning against the window, letting the music guide me. It felt like wrapping yourself in a blanket, curling up in a corner with your own thoughts, and letting them have space without fear or judgment.

By October 12, I brought it to the small studio corner I set up with my keyboard, soft synths, and a mic that catches every subtle whisper of voice. We experimented with textures gentle percussion, delicate piano, and hints of bells that twinkled just like the tiny realizations we sometimes keep to ourselves. Each verse is a little snapshot of vulnerability: the soft sighs in the dark, the quiet laughter, the small moments of bravery in speaking truth.

When we layered the vocals, I remember thinking: this is fragile, this is real, and this is exactly how it’s meant to feel. Not polished like a pop radio hit, but honest. This song was my soft confession to the world, and I hoped it would let other people feel safe letting their hearts be seen too.
