Hubert and Bernadetta are a ship and I will die for them.
They absolutely are a ship and they are absolutely adorable as a ship
I'd like to just - throw in the idea of Hubert teaching Bernadetta magic? Not dark magic, but more like basic reason spells. And at first, he simply treats it like he's trying to teach her self-defense, it becomes very quickly apparent that Hubert is just using it as an excuse to spend time with her.
(Side note, imagine them dancing at the ball? Hubert slowly leading Bernadetta in a waltz closer to the sidelines, since she was practically required to come. And even though normally Bernadetta would be freaking out, somehow she feels calm dancing in Hubert's arms :'>)
